It’s been an amazing, whirlwind month since the launch of my cookbook, Good Clean Food! I’ve been lucky enough to travel across the country – and make a pit stop in my hometown of DC – to celebrate the launch. I kicked off the celebrations with two big launch parties in partnership with sweetgreen in LA and NYC. I’m overwhelmed by all the support and positive feedback the book has received so far – I truly hope you love the book as much as I do!

For my launch parties, I teamed up to create custom Good Clean Food salads with sweetgreen and clean cocktails with Casa Dragones. I had so much fun creating the salads with sweetgreen, which were inspired by my cookbook’s bowl builder and the many bowls throughout the book. The salads were served exclusively at my cookbook launch parties but I’ve included the menu below so you can head to your local sweetgreen and get a taste for yourself 🙂 The Daily is my new go-to and was the first one to fly off the table at both parties. Pro tip: add sweet potato to it if you’re in NYC!

For the cocktail, I turned to the wonderful team at Casa Dragones Tequila. They are best known for their exceptional sipping tequila, which is a small batch, 100% pure Blue Agave silver tequila. It’s best sipped on the rocks or in an elevated, refreshing cocktail. Billy Yoder at SLS Hotel designed this outrageously delicious and refreshing watermelon cocktail. Seriously stunning and a sign that summer is just a around the corner.

In NYC, guests took home mini succulents and in LA guests got to make gorgeous DIY flower bouquets, thanks to our friends at Rolling Greens. LA guests also took home limited edition watercolor prints I made in collaboration with Janelle Sing. Stay tuned – I will be putting the rest up in my marketplace and hosting a giveaway on my Instagram! For now, head to sweetgreen to make a custom salad, or make this special Casa Dragones cocktail asap.
